CANYONING

Best spots are on the eastern side with frequent rains and hard access, ....

The eastern escarpment offers the most extraordinary water trails if you enjoy dense and dense vegetation.	Canyon de la Sahatanimena / Vohidahy
We usually stick around Ambositra (Vohidahy and Sakaleona). Up North we opened a fantastic 3 day canyon on Tsaratanana.
Sakaleona, too big for us!...	The Marojezy area, up in the Nort east probably offers the largest choice of great cliffs.

Don't forget that winter waters can be glacial and always sharpen your machete before going, you'll need it!
