Always the same : huge potential but logistics are really complicated.

Apparently crocodiles can be an issue for kayaks although on classic rivers, they stay away from potential gunners.

Till October 2004, the only serious attempt of german kayakists in 78 was a major mess up.
Then came Brad Lubben, Tyler Bradt and Rush Sturges with their playboats. They dragged along Grayson Schaffer, a kayakist and photograph on assignement for Outside and Kayak Session. One has to read the Feb issue of Kayak Session, its pouring unleashed enthousiasm,....

That will probably mark the beginning of serious white water in Madagascar and I know they'll be back.
