| TREKKING
Madagascar is a Treker's Blessed Land.
One of the first things I noticed when I arrived in Tana was,
Women's legs!....

Treking in Tsaranoro area.
One might think of some degree of profond perversion, but what
really impressed me was the muscular aspect of those legs used
to run on the many countryside trails
if you know the local roads, you understand why so much
walking, ...
The general condition of the road network is disastrous.
With major help from the world bank, they now, hope to
restore it to its 1960 condition over 5 years and truckloads
of malagasy francs.
Meanwhile, locals are truly good hikers and I respect
them a lot for following us through the most remote trails
of the country, bare foot on the laterite, bare foot on
the sharpest rocks, bare foot too on the endless savanas
of the west and the thorn fields of the South.
You'll understand quickly that trek options are extensive
and I will just give you a few advices to choose your
goal, according to your physical aptitudes, the terrain
and the weather.

A really cool bridge, somewhere on the eastern
escarpment.
