and strict respect of local traditions forces us to coach closely
climbers and restrict some areas for either environmental (protection
of Malagasy Fishing Eagle) or religious matters.
We'll do our best to ease your stay on the islands and avoid misbehaviors
which could condemn climbing there.

One of the technical rules, concern fixed gear. It
will be the best rust proof anchors or None! The rigor of the climate
(strong salty winds) is quite agressive. Even the best Petzl points
do rust quickly and that could become a real issue over the years.
Last campaign, Piola started setting heavy rings instead of expansion
bolts.

or Hara, we do not recommend this option. We do face the risk of
being evicted (at least, climbing would) for outsiders wrong attitude

to an even stricter control from government institutions, in charge
of the future park! Then camping out by yourself totally forbidden,
as in all national parks around Mada!
