Climbing !!

Arnaud Petit on Karambony
The Tsaranoro area turned in a few years to the best rock
climbing of the southern hemisphere.
The spot has every condition to end up as a climber's hang out with
a very international crowd.
GreAt weather, 9 months a year (although it gets really hot on the
northern faces at the end of the season (mid-march-Nov).

Granite waves and blue sky for an estatic Klem, ...
Large choice of climbs in type, (boulder, cliff, big wall,
adventure ground), and difficulty (from French 4, up to 8.a).
Some exceptionally sound granite, extremely compact and imposing
extensive face climbbing (little to no cracks)
Easy access with a great base camp, less than an hour from the
longest routes and embedded in a boulder field.

Lynn Hill "resting" in Camp on their grand opening of Bravo les
filles.
You keep the choice of hotel comfort on a full board basis or self catering
camping, plus all intermediates options, ...
For 8 years, the Camp hosted the world climbing elite (Arnaud Petit,
Stéphanie Bodet, Gargitter, Obrischt, Kurt Albert, Bernd Arnold,
Helmut Gargitter, Kurt Obrist, Michel Piola, Manlio Motto, Manuele
Pelizzari, Benoit Robert, Denis Burdet, Steve Mayers, Mike Turner, Francisco
Blanco,
Toti Valés, Craig Luebben, Mike Libecki, Jim Haden, Erik Svab,
Larcher, Lynn Hill, Beth Rodden)
Some of them already came three times; I guess they enjoy the
scene!...

A pure bouldering spot.
Most specialised mags aknowledged the great potential of
the site and praised our efforts towards social development of the valley.
Nothing like a valley for yourself to run wildly on those walls.
