Moi, Gilles Gautier, The Frying French Fry,
born in 58 in Marseille.

20 years spent between the Coast and the Alps (around Briancon), a good deal of time on seas, rivers and mountains at reach,
some tempting incursions in Dolomites, Chamonix and Zermatt till I got really hooked

Hooked on traveling, its mysteries, beauties, pains too, ...
5 years in North America mainly between Yosemite and Big Sur Area, some central America, Africa all around, Comoros for 6 years and 91 sees me setting my packs in Tananarive and built a family with Asanaty, my wife (8 month pregnant) and my two daughters.
The country is on fire (kind of, ...) but I can feel this land and I know I found what I was looking for

12 years later, one daughter and one son as extra,
I'm still in Madagascar and more likely to stay here for ever. I've been granted land in the Andringitra mountains to build my tomb. Although, I'm in no hurry, I really appreciated this offer.

Starting from scratches after a rather sudden and rough departure from Comoros, I started developing a concept new in this country.
Outdoors sports were an option to classic touristic development and now, the recent trend of eco activities confort me in my original idea

In the photographic field, Aloal Concept products gained a reputation of quality. Les Lezards de Tana will remain as the first promotors of outdoors sports in Mada.

- Le Camp Catta has now turned very commercial but remains as an exemple of social integration and a world class climbing spot. It motivates me to develop Tsarasoa as quickly as possible.
NewSea Roc gained the right to settle down on this fantastic archepelago and will be the only lodging option on the whole set of islands.
Although Les Crocos de Tana are very new, they seem to have a bright future ahead, Good luck to them and long life to Madamax, your one and best source for sports infos in Madagascar.

I manage to run a few different activities and projects are many. May be you'll be my next partner on some weird idea of mine, ...
